There’s creative freedom in having nothing to prove.
Seeing the world for all that it is requires nothing but brutal honesty, you in your natural states. Same with writing, it doesn’t require a perfect human to share the truth, it requires an honest human. Once we step away from the insecurities that tell us we have to prove we’re something other than ourselves, we can allow our creative freedoms to flow.
Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.

Very true. I think once you get past the notion of proving something to anybody (yourself included) and simply write because you enjoy it, the words should flow. I haven’t gotten to the stage yet, but hey, every life is a work in progress.
