Just looked and it’s official, banned books week includes my birthday. The dates are September 22-28 this year. How fun is that!
According to the American Library Association, there was a 65% increase of targeted titles from 2023! Last year saw over four thousand unique titles targeted! What’s wild is, “Prior to 2021 the average number of unique titles targeted per year was 273.”

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth.
