Take Your Time

In a world where instant messages and 1 minute noodles are top sellers it is ok to take your time. This is your time to invest in. This is your life to create at your pace. I’m what most people would call a late bloomer. I didn’t learn to invest in my own self and future until I was already a mama. After a slight downward spiral, I made it into college at 27 and loved every second of learning. Years before that I went to college and hated it. Timing matters. Regardless of how people feel your life should look on their timeline, it’s not theirs to control. You are the one who takes the action whe you’re ready.

I personally believe that we have some internal guidance. Maybe it’s divine, maybe it’s a collective consciousness, heck maybe it’s the trees. Whatever it is, I think that there are moments we are nudged when it’s to take a leap or when it’s time to have patience. Even with that, we are the ones who take the action, when we’re ready.

So take your time and be confident in your timing. Trust that your timing has already led you toward your greatest good. If it hasn’t in the past, trust that it will now. Or even practice trusting. It’s so worth it.

The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
