Any trip I take to the ocean makes me feel refreshed. If I’m there all day, I’m tired but still refreshed. However, the whole “toes in the sand, not a worry in the world” finally hit me when I took my momcation at Marco Beach. North Eastern beaches are beautiful, but those Florida beaches have a different feel to them. Freedom is the first word that comes to mind. I remember enjoying the sunset and feeling more relaxed than I had in a long time. I printed pictures from that day to remind me of the peace I finally felt. That was about 10 years ago. I’m much more peaceful these days, but that’s where it all started. That’s where I first learned to trust the feeling that everything was going to be okay.
