Let it Snow

The snow has begun.

I like snow days. I don’t like to drive in snow storms but I do enjoy looking at them. I also like shoveling the driveway. It’s a project I can actually finish within a short period of time. I didn’t always like shoveling the driveway. My enjoyment for shoveling started after I had my little one. After I had her, I finally got my energy back and shoveling became a lot more enjoyable. Plus, it’s a good workout which I miss doing.

And for fun, I have to add Bard’s thoughts about snow storms. #perspective

Cozy Chaos and the Joys of Winter

Of course, snowstorms can also be disruptive. Power outages, travel delays, and treacherous roads can test our patience. But nestled within the chaos lies a certain cozy charm. Hot cocoa by the fireplace, board games under a blanket of snow, and snowball fights with laughter ringing through the air – these are the joys that snowstorms bring. They force us to slow down, to reconnect with our inner child, and to appreciate the simple pleasures of home and hearth.

Thanks for reading! Do you have any good snowed stories?

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
