5th Chakra for 50 Days Day 3

I’m spending the next 50 days focused on my 5th Chakra.
Join me

The 5th Chakra is the throat chakra and is called Vishudda. According to Healthline.com, it is connected to communication and speaking your inner truth.

What’s a Chakra?

Chakras are energy centers in the body that are said to regulate emotions. We have have seven of them. I like to think of our charkas as pulsing from the flow energy that runs through them. What’s important to know is that some situations may cause our chakras to become over active while other situations may cause a blockage in our chakras. Our chakras should wax and wane, what they shouldn’t be is in a consistent state of being blocked or of being overactive. It causes damage to our bodies and takes away from the energy that should be going to other chakras.

Today’s affirmation is:

It’s easy for me to communicate my thoughts.

As writers we know the complexity that comes with trying to share a vision we have in our heads. Maybe it’s not as hard as we think?

What helps when learning to communicate our thoughts is conversation, maybe even a little Socratic seminar, and mentors! Communicating my thoughts gets easier when I think about them, journal about them, and especially when I’m brave in sharing them.

Here’s four things that are part of communication that we might forget

  • listening
  • body language
  • silence
  • creative expression

Now that I finished this post, maybe getting my thoughts across is easier than I think?

Today’s Question

In what experiences do you think your thoughts came through the clearest?

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
