There’s a million ways to say one thing. Don’t get into a place where you’re stuck feeling like you have to say something a certain way. Your thoughts are unique and what you have to say is important. People will literally find ways to make themselves feel more comfortable. It’s one thing to receive critical feedback. I’ve been in writing workshops and groups for ten years, there is a very clear difference between someone who is genuinely giving you feedback to see you improve and from a place of confidence vs someone who has an over inflated ego and just wants to make you feel small as a writer because “They can do it.” Find your voice, use your voice, and let the little people fall away.

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
