You’re Worth the Commitment.

“Small daily improvements over time lead to stunning results.” – Robin Sharma

This is so true. I can’t believe the amount of stories and poetry I’ve accumulated over the years. I remember looking at other writers’ manuscripts or piles of writing printed out, and I couldn’t wait to be there. Now I’m on the verge of tossing all the printed copies. The point is that writing a little every day adds up. It’s worth the commitment, plus it’s something you get to accomplish for yourself.

Do you set small daily writing goals?

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.

  1. I grew up in the late sixties and seventies, graduating high school in 1979. So I have a large collection of mainly typewritten short fiction and poetry, including two novel length fantasies. Thankfully I’ve kept most of these to remind me how difficult it is to maintain continuity of style and plot while consistently growing as a writer during adolescence.

    1. Wow two novel length fantasies on top of all that is quite the collection! Yes, I’m trying my best to work through continuity right now. It’s hard to see what’s out of place after reading this thing so many times! I honestly can’t imagine doing this through my adolescence. Hm maybe in my next life I’ll give it shot haha. If that’s a thing.
