Where Life Lives

I don’t believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive.” -Joseph Campbell

Some of us find the experience of life and then go searching for the meaning of it all. I don’t think there’s any particular way to do things, but I do think you need a healthy balance of both meaning and experience. When I say experience, I don’t mean you have to get on a plane and travel the world and go deep-sea diving. I mean experience as in appreciating the here and now. In yesterday’s blog, I said it’s what we do in those tiny moments. That’s where I think experiencing life lives. When you can do that in the monotony, you can do that while you travel the world too.

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
