Fear’s shadow lingers in the crack below the door
I keep that door locked
Even though sometimes it swings wide open
I pace by it from time to time
But I don’t even touch the handle
I hate to twiddle my thumbs
While I think up the worst case scenario
I don’t even like to talk about it
But maybe if I share
You’ll see it too
and then
In front of our eyes
The door will disappear
-Saschia
Fear is healthy and normal but it’s not meant to control your entire life.

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.

The door needs to be closed
but sometimes gets opened
it seems that it was by itself
like it’s showing us an omen
but you don’t need to be afraid
don’t hesitate for a moment
you’re not alone and have help
hope you realize it in this poem.
