I’m loving One Piece, the live action on Netflix. I had to watch some of the original episodes too. I adore Luffy. I haven’t gotten far in any of the series, but I’m going to keep watching because I really like the characters. I like the way they all bring their own talents to the table and the way they initially push back against Luffy’s seemingly naive positivity. It’s fun! Luffy is a great leader who reminds us to lighten up when facing uncertainty and stand up for the innocent. It’s a worthy watch.
If your superpower was being rubber, how would you use that to your advantage?
If I was rubber, I’m not exactly sure who I’d become but I do know I want to be the person that reminds people there’s good in the world.
Luffy is great in the anime too, but I think it really picks up only after many arcs, which is probably 300 or more episodes. I thought one piece will never end, but the writer of the manga apparently has an ending in mind. I hope it isn’t Luffy finding a note saying, it was the journey and not the destination lol 😂. I haven’t watched the live action version yet. Might tune in soon.

I like him in the anime too. I’m not 300 in yet. When I get time, I’ll have to watch more.

You can skip a few episodes and get to the war, etc. A lot of the early episodes follow a certain formula. The ones later follow a good plot I think.

Lol. It is, but the first few episodes don’t really focus all that much on the main plot. It gets interesting once the bigger characters enter. Luffy seems unstoppable in the beginning too. So skip if you want to 😂
