Search for Meaning

“Life is not about having everything. It’s about finding meaning in everything.” – Joel Randymar

Meaning is everywhere. The sound the vents make when the air kicks on. The way the rug abruptly stops before it turns to black and white tile. The rise and fall of a chest that belongs to someone you love. It is ours to see, to understand, to find meaning in.

We get to find meaning in our own experiences. We get to make things make sense in our way even if no one understands them. This is our life to make sense of. The trick in finding meaning is to keep searching. Staying curious about the unknown is what helps us bridge it all with what we know.

This is exactly what made me fall in love with writing, my curiosity.

Saschia Jayne Johnson is the author of Writer’s Quest: A Triptych. On her free time, she likes to be with her family outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize it was the search that held what was most important; curiosity." Saschia works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
