Unlocking Creativity: The Power of Ah-Ha Moments

“For your born writer, nothing is so healing as the realization that he has come upon the right word.”
—Catherine Drinker Bowen

I’ve never thought of myself as a “born writer,” but I can tell you it is so liberating to find the words you’ve been searching for. For me, that word doesn’t always end up as part of the final product; it acts more as a key that opens up a million new possibilities. As a creative writer, being able to dig myself out of limited thinking feels like magic. Some people have labeled these moments as Ah-ha moments.

How’s your writing project going?

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.

  1. Yeah. Finding the right word. To express the right emotion, or situation, is such a high. I guess that’s the primary motivation for writers, rather than the stories or poems themselves. They love words. They just create pieces so they get the opportunity to write words after words, and turn them into something real and alive.
By the way, my writing project is going fine. 🙂 What about you?
