β¨A Poemβ¨
A finger drag ππ½
down the isle of books. π
Some people like slime.
I like the smell of books and π
the thump between each one π
The way the plastic crinkles. π
The way my fingers slides across some without a sound. π
What gets me going the most, π
is that each one holds the seed of a universe π
in bloom π
It’s like walking through space. π

Saschia Jayne Johnson is the author of Writerβs Quest: A Triptych. On her free time, she likes to be with her family outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize it was the search that held what was most important; curiosity." Saschia works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
