I had to Experience Publishing my Novel

I didn’t see how or when I’d ever finished my first novel, but somehow, I managed to make it to the end. It was a humbling experience that I needed to have. It had to happen because for some reason it was my finish line, but when a writer publishes a book, it’s not the finish line. The finish line is either death or the place of your choosing. Don’t get me wrong, publishing your work is something worth celebrating! The thing is if you plan to publish novelssss, it’s just one piece of a potentially lifelong process. Now that the ghost of my unpublished novel is done nipping at my heels, I can get back to being a writer.
