Your Stories Carry an Infinite Amount of Information

“The world needs our stories”

“The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” -William Faulkner

The amount of work it takes to write a full length novel is unknown to people who have never written one. And truth be told, I don’t think readers care about how much work you do. It only matters that the story was good.

The right reader will find your book and feel like it’s exactly what they needed. This life is hard and books lighten the load. They give us brief moments away from it all. Believe that you’re doing a service by sharing your art with the world. Believe it or not the world needs our stories. Our stories carry an infinite amount of information that can’t be calculated because the stories are a little different from each person who reads them.

So yes, your novel is hard work, but it is so worth the effort.

Saschia Jayne Johnson is the author of Writer’s Quest: A Triptych. On her free time, she likes to be with her family outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize it was the search that held what was most important; curiosity." Saschia works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.

  1. I greatly admire novel writers, no matter how green or successful they perceive themselves. Persistence of vision and execution is everything. Just don’t execute yourself in the process. And a sense of humor is absolutely essential!
