Having a new experience doesn’t require having fun. The point is being able to see the world from a new perspective. It’s to add on to what you’ve already acquired throughout your lifetime. Of course we planners visualize these perfect moments with joy and laughter and silly little family games. But those things are bonuses along with the new experience. Paulo Coelho says,
Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience.
It’s important when you’re experiencing new things that you welcome all moods and levels of enjoyment and engagement. The experience is still going to happen whether everyone is enjoying it or not. It’s all about trying new things, going on new adventures, and figuring out what doesn’t work. You may even ask what would work better next time. Or you never know what connections you might make in the future from what you thought was an experience that everyone hated.
Have you had any new experiences lately?
We went out as a family to try one of those fancy drinks that have dry ice and gummies in them! It was quite the experience.
Wait wait wait. What are those fancy drinks all about? I mean, they look cool but the girls and I haven’t been adventurous lately. One is still recovering from the gummies in boba tea 😂 so that’s the obvious question about the drink experience- are they the same gummies?

Hahaha that made me laugh about the boba. The place we went to is called The Sugar Factory. here’s a link to check out their drinks. They are so fun!! https://www.instagram.com/p/CmtyFE_IZQp/
It’s funny because we usually get ourselves Boba and then I realized for the price we’re paying for boba for all of us, we could get one huge fancy drink lol So that’s just what we did. They are not the same gummies. They have all kinds of candy drinks some even start out with cotton candy!!

Just pulled up the page and tagged the girls. My oldest and I drink boba all the time but the others… not so much. Now these bad boys look phenomenal and… it looks like they have one here in Dallas. Thanks!!!
