Write it Out

I must write it all out, at any cost. Writing is thinking. It is more than living, for it is being conscious of living.” – Anne Morrow Lindbergh

I want to feel all the feels and be fully aware of all of my emotions. I want to learn from my mistakes and do better in the future. Writing helps me work through all of that. It’s not just the act of writing. It’s the entire process. The retelling, getting into the heads of other characters, figuring out the little details; all that helps with processing different situations. But I think the part that a lot of people overlook is the part where we get to share our work with others. We can share how we relate, or how we don’t relate at all. We can learn that we’re not alone or even gain a new perspective on the world around us. We don’t have to share our most private secrets, but when we’re ready to share in a place we feel is safe, it really adds to the experience.

How do you feel about sharing your work? Is blogging different for you than sharing in person?

Jayne is a writer. On her free time she likes to be with her family hiking outdoors and traveling. New England is her home and place of birth. When asked what she wants to teach the world she replied, "Don't stop searching. Too many times, in my old life, I put my search aside for more 'important matters.' I didn't realize the thing I was searching for held what was most important; my soul purpose." Jayne works daily on improving her craft and at times can get down on herself, but her favorite morning mantra is "It's a new day." and that's what she strives to start with.
