What is Working?
I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work. Thomas A. Edison “I’ve fond 10,000 ways that won’t work,” sounds like a really great place to give up. Let’s reframe that. In the 10,000 ways that didn’t work, what did work? One of my I-give-up lines is “I don’t know.” What I’veContinue reading “What is Working?”

Sunday Solitude
I’d say today was a successful solitude. Stopped at a coffee shop and read my book, did some meditating, took a nap, thought about hiking but read some more instead. It never feels like I have enough time to read but Sundays are the perfect day for me to get some reading in.
This Poem Reminded Me How Love Feels
I’ve stepped away from poetry. I don’t really have a good reason why, but most likely it’s because of the novel. But this crawled right into my heart and made a romantic out of me. I have to share it because there’s always room for romantic love poetry. THE TRUELOVEby David Whyte There is aContinue reading “This Poem Reminded Me How Love Feels”
