Today I had some much needed alone time. Phew, time goes by too quick in between my times of solitude. I felt like a brand new woman by the time I got home. I felt peace. I felt like I was where I needed to be in life. All I could think was that IContinue reading “Full Cup”

Free Should the Scholar Be
In self-trust all the virtues are comprehended. Free should the scholar be,—free and brave. Free even to the definition of freedom, “without any hindrance that does not arise out of his own constitution.” The American Scholar lecture by Ralph Waldo Emerson https://www.gutenberg.org/files/16643/16643-h/16643-h.htm#THE_AMERICAN_SCHOLAR When I do projects I usually like to divide them up into differentContinue reading “Free Should the Scholar Be”

Mama Your Mama
Sunday Rest Day It was a church, dishes, laundry, and lay around type of day for me. It was nice. I spent a lot of time on my phone in my room alone. It was nice. I’ve been thinking about freedom but also I’ve been thinking about what an honor it would have been toContinue reading “Mama Your Mama”

Because they fear what would happen if we were united. They were right to be afraid. Join me at Stone-in-the-Wood. Here we will make ourContinue reading ““Not as many but as one!””
Letting Go
I don’t want to wait till things fall apart to let go. I’d rather maintain what I have by letting go of what I can’t control. It can be challenging but I enjoy the process of developing something, (especially with a team). “Let the beat in your heartlift you to the skies“
Gratitude and Desire are Both Welcomed Here
The greatest thing I’ve learned so far this year, is that I can want more while I’m grateful for where I am. Those are two things I feel strongly about. In the past I always focused on wanting more. On setting goals and striving for them was in the forefront of my life. I wouldContinue reading “Gratitude and Desire are Both Welcomed Here”
Shame
You can’t live in shame from your mistakes. Forgive yourself, learn from your mistake, and do better next time. Those words, no matter how true that are, don’t make the shame go away, don’t make you forgive yourself, and don’t make you do better next time. What really does help though, is connecting with othersContinue reading “Shame”
