I’ve begun to say things like, “Wow this is amazing, how could this get any better?” It’s strange the things that surprise me when I say that out loud. I’m grateful for every blessing that comes my way.

Have you ever read the screenplay for your favoritest movie ever? Well, I dabbled in screenplay writing for a little while. It’s fun to write screenplays. If you haven’t tried to write one yet, you should totally give it shot! Even if you’re not interested in writing one, I think everyone interested should get a view of their favorite movie plotted out.
So if you’re still reading this post and you’re interested I’ll attach a link to the database.
Note: You DO NOT need to download!! Click the link that says- Read “Movie Title”

Ok, thanks for reading. Here’s the link! Have fun! Let me know what you decide to read!
If you follow me on Instagram you know I love those little Kawaii cartoons with positive messages. So yesterday’s post was about finding Sketchable on my computer. I wasn’t sure where to start when it came to creating something but it hit me to work on learning to draw cute things.
I’ll share the inspo I found
I found the Sketchable app in my Windows apps. It’s probably always been there. Maybe it came with the latest update? Anyhow, I always like finding new ways to exercise my creativity.
I opened it today and there was some sample art that came up first. I couldn’t figure out how to move the page around but I clicked around and explored. Seems like a fun way to express myself.
I of course looked to YouTube for some Sketchable tutorials! I’m excited to make what silly little works of art I can come up with that make me smile.
If you know me, you know I love Dark Crystal. The thing is, there’s a lot of story there, and some things I wasn’t able to put together. But guess what? There’s a human out there that’s making videos all about Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and I’ve never appreciated a YouTuber more! If you’re a fellow Dark Crystal lover, check him out.
The YouTuber username is @dreamfastwithme aka Danny Gallows. He doesn’t just talk about Dark Crystal. He also does movie reviews. And you’d never guess it! He talks about One Piece too! #jackpot
I started with the video about the different ways each Skeksis would lead. A couple were spot on. There was one that was questionable. I’m not sure about his views on how the scientist would lead.
Watch the video, I wanna know what you think.
I’m going to try to play with poetry again. I will be posting my poetry on Medium.com. A few triggers have inspired me to play with words again. We’ll see how it goes. I’m trying to gauge my level of commitment, and it’s probably about one poem a week. I don’t want to be famous for my poetry, so I wouldn’t call myself a poet, but I like to dabble in all sorts of writing things.
I had to share the bookshelf I saw! We didn’t have much time to stop and look at all the books and someone was talking to me while I was taking the video so it’s not the best buuuuut it’s still a pretty cool bookshelf.
Reminder
I follow back all writers in Instagram! If you’re a writer looking to connect follow me. If I don’t follow back shoot me a message. I’m more than happy to connect with other writers.
In my daily journal, I always end with an affirmation to sleep with. I was going to put “Everything will be okay” – something I’ve always been told growing up. But I’ve had such an amazing week that I wanted to make sure I placed this affirmation in the present tense. “Everything is okay.” I usually make most of my affirmations in the present moment because if we always speak into the future, then it’s too easy to lose track of the present. “Today everything is okay.” That is what I want to feel. That is what I want to say and believe when I say it for as many days as I can be gifted.
Bard is the AI chatbot by Google. You can ask Bard all sorts of things. Bard edits, gives ideas, tells you facts and gives links to help deepen your understanding. Bard has great potential to support educational and creative endeavors! I say that as an optimistic progressivist.
Here’s a fun example. I asked Bard to help me write a poem about fairy light and green vines. This is what bard came up with.
Sure, here is a poem about fairy lights and green vines:
Fairy Lights and Green Vines
In the twilight’s gentle glow,
Green vines dance and fairy lights glow.
A symphony of light and green,
A magical, enchanting scene.
The vines reach out, their tendrils curled,
Adorned with lights, a dazzling swirl.
Each tiny bulb a gem so bright,
Sparkling like stars in the night.
The fairy lights cascade and gleam,
Like a waterfall of dreams.
Their soft glow fills the air with cheer,
A vision of enchantment, crystal clear.
Oh, fairy lights and green vines,
Your beauty intertwines.
A tapestry of light and grace,
A magical, enchanting space.

(Bard didn’t sign its name on this poem but it should have so I did.)
Isn’t that fun!! Of course I’d rather write my own poetry. This isn’t really my personal style but it could be just the inspiration we need as creatives. I’m excited about having AI chatbots. There’s so many possibilities!
To close, here’s what Bard said after listing 7 websites I could use to learn poetry.
No matter what your level of experience is, there are resources available to help you learn how to write poetry. With a little effort, you can learn to write beautiful and moving poems.
Did I watch Roald Dahl’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar a movie that came out on Netflix Sept 27th which today on my birthday? Yes, yes did. It was the perfect mix of artistic weirdness and Benedict Cumberbatch Perfection!
