The World Is So Much Stranger

When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all… grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid, and that’s it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It’s so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.

Art It Up

“There is something collective in art especially art done in solitude.”

If you’re feeling like the world is getting to you, like you just can’t get a break, make some art. You will still hurt. You will still be soft but every time you share your guts, one more person will be less alone. But don’t do it for the others no, do it because this is the most important thing on your list.

The Gift of Thought

We are strongly encouraged to live on autopilot day in and day out but we need time to rest so that we can think clearly. Philosophy and Character

When your philosophy/belief system does not in any way line up with your behaviors

I’m calling you out on your character

And I support anyone else who calls you out

I don’t understand why people get mad when their character is attacked

while spewing beliefs they don’t even follow for themselves

Change your behavior

or change your beliefs

it’s not simple

and it’s only necessary when you speak your philosophy/belief system out loud

In other words

let your actions match your words

so you don’t silence yourself

The Art of Patience

The world is adjusting

The words are flying out

The book is started

And the ending

Is unfolding before my eyes

It’s the art of patience that’s a killer

But just wait

Just you wait

My life is falling into place

And when it happens

I’ll still have nothing to prove

I’m excited about that
